Perseverance Rover Successfully Lands on Mars

The Perseverance Rover launched in the summer of 2020 and landed on Jezero Crater, Mars on February 18, 2021. Video of the rover's descent and touchdown can be viewed here. Perseverance has several scientific instruments to carry out its mission which is to find evidence of ancient microbial life and collect rock and regolith samples to potentially analyze back on Earth.
