Education:

BSc. Chemistry, University of Mumbai, India (2013-2015)

MSc. Biochemistry, Maharaja Sayajirao University Baroda, India (2015-2017)

PhD. Chemistry, Georgia Institute of Technology, USA (2017-present)

Research Interests:

I am a graduate student in the Williams lab. My core interests are the primitive Ribosomal complex and prebiotic RNA catalysts. I am exploring the behavior of primitive RNA networks, with focus on the Azoarcus group I Intron. It includes the characterization of the mechanistic effects of small oligomers on Group I ribozymes. I am also working on delineating the minimal functional complex of the ribosome necessary for the synthesis of a complete polypeptide chain.
