Holly McCann of Georgia Tech has been selected as a recipient of the 2022 Robert A. Pierotti Memorial Scholarship. The award is in honor of Robert “Bob” Pierotti, a past dean of the College and founder of the Center for Education Integrating Science, Mathematics, and Computing (CEISMC). The scholarship is made annually to top graduating seniors in the College of Sciences who have excelled in research as well as academics. Holly was selected by a faculty committee in part for her contributions to the COOL's ProteoVision, a web server for the prediction and visualization of ribosomal proteins published in Nucleic Acids Research.
