Pursuing B.S. in Biology, Georgia Institute of Technology, Atlanta, GA

Research Interests:

My responsibilities with the Williams group are to extract, align, and edit primary sequences from structural databases such as UniProt and NCBI to ultimately visualize and analyze three-dimensional structures using Protein Data Bank (PDB) as well as to run ancestral sequence reconstructions and pairwise structural comparisons.

In addition, I am also conducting research at Chatham University with Dr. Kevin Hatala using X-ray imaging, 3D animation, and computer simulation methods to study the anatomy and biomechanics of human feet during locomotion.
