I am pursuing a B.S. in Chemistry at the Georgia Institute of Technology.
Research Interests:
My research focuses on how initiation factors and pre-initiation complexes help piece together evolutionary relationships. I am specifically interested in conserved regions of contact and how bacterial initiation factor 3 fits into the picture. My current project involves comparing the archaeal and bacterial translation systems and compiling conserved features. I also serve as the lab illustrator.
