COOL PI Professor Loren Williams was named a 2022 Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Sciences (AAAS) for his "distinguished contributions to the fields of biophysics and the origins and evolution of life on Earth, particularly for advancing our understanding of the evolution of the translation system". This is a lifetime honor for extraordinary achievements in science.
